An Exciting New Chapter

Cobalt Consulting Group was founded in 2020 to bridge the rapidly budding business community with the life sciences ecosystem of Baltimore and Johns Hopkins University!

Cobalt is operated by students in the Baltimore area, many of whom are undergraduates at JHU. Consultants at Cobalt are fortunate to work with companies within the thriving industries of life-sciences and healthcare, and our goal is to foster unique professional development opportunities for students throughout the city.

Much of our team comes with experience from the JHU Biomedical Engineering Department. In addition, many of our consultants have worked in disruptive design teams and groundbreaking research labs, helping to carry the torch through the cutting-edge world of medicine and science. The rest of our team comes seasoned with work experience from consulting firms, financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, and startups.

We are excited to work with companies seeking to boldly transform their industries, starting with the flourishing biotechnology community in our home (Baltimore), as well as the greater DMV area and beyond.

We are also looking forward to the creation of professional development events for the community, including our “Hack-Homewood” case competition, consultant panels, life sciences workshops and newsletters which will be open to the general public.
